HeartSave - A reliable life-saver
The PRIMEDIC HeartSave is a mobile defibrillator, which relieves you of grave decisions:
The devices performs an automatic ECG analysis within 12 seconds and decides whether a defibrillation is necessary. Then a touch of a button is sufficient to trigger the life-saving electric pulse that eliminates the ventricular fibrillation. Thus valuable seconds and minutes are used to save life.

Features of the PRIMEDIC AED HeartSave Series:

  • Dynamic and individual adjustement of the biphasic shock by measurement of the patient impedance (continously variable between 140 - 360 J, according to the ERC directives 2005/2006)
  • The impulse length is always 15 ms, independent from patient (this enables complete polarisation of the myocard).
  • Current controlled biphasic impulse (positive and negative constant at 20 Ampere; according to the ERC directives) detectable conservative for the myocard.
  • 3 languages (Basic version: German, English, Spanish languages are currently available; updates by installed or removable CFCard
  • IP55 (water-jet protected and dustproof)
  • Power supply by 5 year lifetime battery, accumulator or mains supply circuit
  • Fast data transfer by installed Compact Flash Card for storage of up to 48 hours for ECG, up to 5,4 hours for text and ECG and for updates f.e. text or firmware as comparison find here the transfer rates of usual interfaces of manufacturers:
    • CF-Card app. 3,5 MB/s up to max. 12 MB/s
    • USB 1.1 app. 1500 kbit/s
    • Bluetooth app. 434 kbit/s max. 723kbit/s
    • Serial Interface (RS232) app. 128 kbit/s
    • Infrared app. 1,152 Mbit/s but limited by RS232
  • Navigation approval (salt fog tested), Railroad aproval (12,66 Hz, Helicopter approval up to 4000m over ground and flight capability, (Rally sport tested)
  • Single push button operation of the layperson device. Automatic switch ON when the device is opened, manual switch ON/OFF additionally possible Analysis-/ Datatransfer-Software is contained within every device (no extra costs)
  • AED and AED-M are available with different telemetry modules (I and II) Module I with GSM to defined receipient and automatic alarm when sending a SMS, module II with extra ECG transfer in realtime mode
  • HearSave AED monitor devices are with high resolution 4,7 Blue-Mode Monitor (12cm diagonal and currently largest display of all AEDs)
  • When using a monitor equipped device there is a possibility for ECG monitoring by use of a separate ECG cable and standard disposable ECG electrodes
  • Automatic synchronisation at AED HeartSave6 & 6s in manual mode
  • SpO2 Sensor at AED HeartSave6s for measurement of the oxygen saturation
  • All devices are upgradable and are, concerning holder, electrodes and powersupply, compatible to the professional devices of the PRIMEDIC XD series.

HeartSave – ein zuverlässiger Lebensretter
Der PRIMEDIC HeartSave ist ein mobiler Defibrillator, der Ihnen schwerwiegende Entscheidungen abnimmt:
In nur max. zwölf Sekunden führt das Gerät automatisch eine EKG-Analyse durch und entscheidet, ob eine Defibrillation notwendig ist. Dann genügt ein Knopfdruck, um den lebensrettenden elektrischen Impuls auszulösen, welcher das Herzkammerflimmern beseitigt. So werden wertvolle Sekunden und Minuten genutzt, um Leben zu retten.

Eigenschaften der PRIMEDIC AED HeartSave Serie:

  • Die Höhe des biphasischen Schocks wird durch Messung der Patientenimpedanz individuell angepasst (stufenlos zwischen 140 – 360 J, entsprechend der neuen ERC Richtlinie 2005/2006)
  • Der Impuls ist unabhängig vom Patienten immer 15 ms lang (das Myokard kann sich vollständig polarisieren)
  • Stromgeregelter biphasischer Impuls (beide Impulsanteile, der positiv als auch der negative Anteil liegen konstant bei 20 Ampere (entsprechend der neuen ERC Richtlinie und sind somit nachweisbar sehr Myokard schonend)
  • 3-Sprachigkeit (Grundversion: Deutsch/Englisch/Spanisch – 22 Sprachen stehen z. Zt. zur Verfügung, update über die eingebaute/austauschbare CFCard
  • IP55 (strahlwassergeschützt und staubdicht)
  • Schiffahrtszulassung (Salznebelprüfung), Bahnzulassung (12,66 Hz, Hubschrauberzulassung bis 4000m ü. M. und Flugtauglichkeit sind gegeben, (Rallyesport erprobt)
  • Stromversorgung wahlweise 5-jahres-Batterie, Akku oder Netzteil
  • Für schnellste Datenübertragung sorgt die eingebaute Compact-Flash Card. Sie wird als Speichermedium für bis zu 48 Stunden EKG Aufzeichnung (EKG u. Sprache max. 5,4 Std.) genutzt, sowie für updates des Gerätes (Sprachanweisungen, Firmeware usw...).
  • Ein-Tastenbedienung des Laiengerätes; Einschalten erfolgt automatisch. beim Öffnen des Gerätes (manuelles Ein- u. Ausschalten ist ebenfalls möglich)
  • Auswerte-/Auslesesoftware sowie Schulungsvideo ist in jeder Gerätelieferung enthalten (es fallen keine zusätzlichen Kosten an)
  • Der AED und der AED-M sind ab 2006 mit Telemetriemodulen erhältlich bzw. ausgelieferte Geräte lassen sich auch alternativ zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt nachrüsten.
  • Der Telemetriemodul I bietet die autom. Freisprechverbindung zu einem vorprogrammierten Notrufempfänger, sowie die automatische Alarmierung durch das Versenden einer SMS
  • Der Telemetriemodl II bietet zusätzlich die EKG Übertragung in realtime
  • Das Monitorgerät verfügt über einen hoch auflösenden 4,7“ Blue-Mode Monitor
  • Beim Monitorgerät besteht die Möglichkeit über ein separates EKG Kabel und handelsüblichen EKG-Elektroden, kostengünstiges Monitoring zu ermöglichen
  • Automatische Synchronisation bei AED HeartSave6 & 6s im manuellen Modus
  • SpO2 Sensor beim AED HeartSave6s zur Messung der Sauerstoffsättigung
  • Alle Geräte lassen sich später aufrüsten und sind was Halterung, Klebeelektroden und Stromversorgung betrifft, kompatibel zu den professionellen Geräten der PRIMEDIC XD Serie.
